1. I came up late in school, guess what, I'm an officer so I must not be late and kaharap ko pa Commandant namin. shecks.
2. Pinahiya ako ni Giovanni, feeling nya mas magaling siya saken. lolz.
3. Nainis ako kay Inday, feeling nya maganda sya. haha.
4. Natisod ako nung malapit nako sa gate.
5. Pinagbalot ako ng libro ng mga classmates ko.
6. Pinagtawanan ako nung sumasayaw ako.
7. Nahampas ako ng pangbulyaw ng langaw sa tindahan.
8. Nangutang lang ako kay fatioma ng pamasahe pauwi. haha.
9. Dami ko pang kailangang gawin.
10. UPCAT na sa Sabado, bahala na.

one color, one goal - another year for the UAAP

Well, Season 72 na ang league na pinakasusubaybayan ko in my whole life. Err. Even if I'm not in college yet, as a sports enthusiast, I must not miss another season of my favorite athletic competition, which is UAAP.

So I'm kinda tinatamad magpost so I'll just give my predictions in the basketball tournament for all the member schools alphabetically.

Adamson Soaring Falcons - So this team has a lot of returning players. Nawala lang sina Marc Agustin and Paul Gonzalgo. Nandito pa ang steady players nila na sina Jan Colina, Mike Galinato, Jerick Cañada, and Lester Alvarez. Leo Canuday is also a good readddition to the team. I think they might improve their 3 win show last season. Unfortunately, natalo sila sa UST sa first game nila this season.

Ateneo Blue Eagles - Whoa, my bets for last season. Wala na Chris Tiu. Ohh. He's a big part kung bakit ko sinuportahan ang ADMU. Yuri Escueta, Jobe Nkemakolam, and Mike Baldos will not play na rin ata. But Rabeh is still there, they have a good chance in retaining their crown with Jai, Eric, Nonoy, etc. Let's see kung ano maipapakita nila this year.

De La Salle Green Archers - I think napakalaking kawalan sina JVee and Rico. They don't have a leader in the court right now. James Mangahas and PeeJay Barua must step up to fill their shoes. They must have consistency in their play also. They only score 46 against UE earlier. Gosh, this is not the La Salle team we've been known for. Out pala sa season ang isa sa mga idol kong rookies last year LA Revilla because of sickness. But the future for La Salle is big. They have Sam Marata, Arvie Bringas, and Banal together with some sophomores Maui Villanueva, Joshua Webb and others. We'll just wait. Maybe this year is not their year.

FEU Tamaraws - The hosts for this years season. I think they have a good chance in making it to the finals. Sila bet ko for this season. They lost Ben Fernandez, Marlon Adolfo and Mac Baracael ata this season. But they have an intact line-up for this year. They do have 3 players who were part of the Smart Gilas team who played internationally, Mark Barroca, JR Cawaling, and Aldrech Ramos. Barroca showed spectacular basketball in the FIBA chuchu tournament and I think they will show their veteran guts to try to win against Ateneo tomorrow.

NU Bulldogs - Sad note for them last year, they only got 2 wins, which was the worst last season. Too bad they will also lose top scorers Edwin Asoro, Raymond Aguilar and pati ata si Jay Jahnke. Well, they do have one main gun for this season which is Jewel Ponferrada na kinakitaan ko naman ng galing last season. Manny Dandan said in the primer na they do have a small lineup this season but quickness will be their main gun for this year. Goodluck to NU, sana mag-improve kayo.

UE Red Warriors - Shocking news, nagka-ACL si James Martines, whoa. Malaking kawalan agad yon coz he's onew of the best 3-point shooting guards last year. Graduated na din sina Marcy Arellano and Hans Thiele. But they have a pretty good line-up this season, though, and also a new coach in the name of Lawrence Chiongson. Their main weapons this season are Elmer Espiritu, Paul Lee, Paul Zamar, Pari Llagas, Rudy Lingganay, and a lot more. Marami pa naman ang natira sa mga players last year. They have a good shot at making to the final 4, just my opinion.

UP Fighting Maroons - Wow, umaasenso na ata ulit ang UP. From a winless show in season 70, they managed to win 3 games last season with the help of now sophomore coach Aboy Castro. Jay Agbayani is their only key loss. The spotlight will be on Woody Co, Martin Reyes, and Magi Sison. Former Baby Falcon Mark Juruena is with them also. Good luck for the Fighting Maroons to try to improve more their showing this season.

UST Growling Tigers - Last season was kinda a heartbreaker for them. They have a good chance considering their experienced lineup but that is kinda a forgetful one for them. Jervy Cruz, thir main gun bids goodbye together with Francis Allera, Japs Cuan, Chester Taylor, and Mark Canlas. The experience of this squad is within the hands of Dylan Ababou who is their team captain for this year. The leadership and the quality play will come definitely from him with the help of some reliable players Khasim Mirza, Tata Bautista and the returning players. Although this team is on its rebuilding process, they are still hoping a shot on the final 4 and hopefully for the crown.

So this ends my brief assessment for the season. With my utmost passion in sports, especially UAAP Basketball, expect me to post a lot of sports action here.

Gosh, this is the most perfect, if not the most perfect title for my blog post today. It's a Monday, hey. It's school day but I really needed to post this one coz I might forget what happened on this kinda special and sh*t day.

Well, for me, I thought it was just another day in school coz it's Monday, but a sudden twist made it kinda memorable. So since he time I woke up, prepared for school and up to 12 noon, it was my daily routine. English was nice, Math was urgghh hard, Values should I say is booorring. I'm so bad. But that was I really felt and I was kinda nainis when Sister says a lot of negativities in this world, and I reacted a lot on the OFW thing, coz my father is an OFW and she said that OFW's are just 'nagapapayaman' and they chose abroad than the Philippines and earn a lot of money which is DEFINITELY UNTRUE! I was furious at that time. My dad works so hard there and he di not make us maluho and were not rich, we're just a normal family na nakakaraos and a lot of times get a lot of help from 'utang'. Yan naglabas na ko ng sama ng loob. TLE was cool, we presented our play and Ma'am Carla gave a very good remark and we're the best among the performers. She commented na di daw ako masyadong nagsalita and she thought na I was mad at her which was a BIG NO. My role kasi is to be a dehydrated kid and Ididn't said anything on the play coz I'm the patient. Anyway, I enjoyed it really.

The difference in this day though is when we did not attend classes to personally go to UP-DEPP which is University of the Philippines-Diliman Extension Program in Pampanga in Clark! Whoa. Anghaba ng pangalan. tsk. We went to our adviser and we asked for permission and then went there. First, we go hassles in the post office in the municipal hall to pay the P450 application fee. 30 mins. din kami dun and then I went home and hastily changed my clothes and just ate a little lunch then bumalik na ko sa school to see my classmates who are also going there. I was with Jessie, Fatima, Joel, Marc, Phil, Gian. Tey, Jereza, Sarah, Marija, Ian, Kelvin, and Patrick. The jeepney ride was so cool coz our jeep was the best jeep in town, the aircon jeep, one of a kind actually. We were not bored during the 1 hour trail to Clark coz we keep on dakdakan and chika and also taking pictures and videos. Then nakarating na kami sa UP Clark, for short, whoa, eto pala yun. Mas maganda pa sa picture. It looks like a kulungan or jail but students here are smart so that's why I named my post "Don't judge a book by its cover, bow." When we got there, we had some bad news, we need 4 photos and some of us only had 2, we were there 2:30 and it will be closed at 3. We hurried to SM Clark, which was kinda nearby but we were in panic. Ayaw na naming bumalik. Manong driver was not around so we rode a public jeep to SM. In our way o SM dahil nasa panic mode na kame, in the jeep, napagalitan kami ng isang pasahero, di nalang namin pinansin, pare-pareho lang naman kaming pasahero. Wala syang magagawa. Nung nandun na kame we went immediately to the photo studio and printed 6 copies of our 2x2 pix. Minimum lang ang 6 copies. Ang naging problem ay sa aming classmate na itatago natin sa pangalang Dian. (haha) na nagpadala pala ng form niya kay Marc na di sinasabi samen. Si Marc lang ang di namin classmate tapos di nya kami pinagkatiwalaan. Kasi we were so strict na yung magpapass ng UPCAT forms ay dapat sumama samen. Bawal magpapasa. Nilabag niya ang rule namen so were so furious lalo na si Sarah and Jessie. Syempre, sinu bang di magagalet. Nagbayad kami, napagod kame, nag-absent kame para dun tapos siya nagrerecitation, nag-group activity, nag-attend ng class at ang pinakamasaklap, inabonohan ko pa sya ng P150 para sa pix nya. Kulang din yung sakanya then kailangan pang pa-scan. ang mahal. Sabe nila wag na but I insisted. Kahit na galit nako, at wala ng pera, inacomplish pa namin ang form nya. We waited for 20 mins. so we went pa sa NBS para bumili ng supplies. Then we asked our other classmates na naiwan sa UP Clark if open pa cla. 3 na. Nagmakaawa cla and yung personnel dun pumayag na mag-extend. Pero up to 3:30 lang. So 3:20 na. Dun palang kami natapos. Then we rushed to go out of SM and we didn't know the terminal going back to UP Clark. Muntik pang nasagasaan si Phil tapos nag-over da bakod ba naman sana kahit na andun na yung gate. LOL moment yun ah. Nung palang asa SM pa kami palabas, takbuhan na, di bale kung madapa o pagtinginan. Talagang gahol kami sa oras. Nakasakay na kami ng jeep, ang bagal ng driver. Nung malapit nalang kame sa UP, sabi nila paalis na daw yung personnel and sinabe namen. Wait lang! One minute na lang promise. Ihh. paalsi na daw. Sandali lang. Anu ba! Ayaw na naming bumalek!! Then nakaabot kame. Bukas pa UP Clark. Mga 3:45 na ata nun. Thanks kay kuya at hinintay pa kame. Ayus na sana pero nagkadiskusyon kami kay Dian tapos nakausap namin yung guard kung kelan cla open and then he said they're open from Tuesdays to Saturdays. Huwaat. Monday ngayon so supposed to be sarado but because of UPCAT deadline na bukas, they were there and we were supposed to be going there last Saturday pero namisinform kmi ng classmate namin na itago natin sa pangalang Mary Anne na closed sila pag saturdays. Edi sayang. Dapat di na kami nag-absent. Pero at least tapos na. Yung test nalang. Sana man lang may pumasa samen.

Then we went to SM Clark to eat and lakwatsa. Ayoko ng magkwento dahil mag-aaral pa ko. Mahaba-haba narin post ko. Nakauwi na kame around 7 quarter.

Don't read this one if you're not interested. This would be a super long post. :)

Saturday, for me is like my blog day. During Saurdays, I am not quite busy except today, coz of schoolwork, but I need to post this one so i will not forget what happened this week. I easily forget something. But this is posted as you can see this Sunday coz I didn't continue it yesterday, I can't think of anything to say.

Hmm. So Sunday evening, June 7, I was so so excited to go to school that time. I said to my sister, "Ali naku ata matudtud eh. Excited ku. Haha" which means that I am super excited and I think I can't sleep na. So I slept around 10:30.

The next day is the first day of school. Whoa, this is it. I ate my breakfast early and then prepared my CAT Uniform because us officers are all in duty. I hurried up a little because this is my habit every first day, going to school early, even just on the first day! So when I went to school, I didn't expect that it was like hell! Coz when I was on my way to school, 1st, the tricycle driver don't have change for my P50. My mom didn't gave me barya kasi so I decided to buy a stupid Milo in order to have coins. I hate that driver. Then jeep naman. Wala akong nakasabay na classmate ko. I remember it was Khim Mejia and Krizel Landero yung kakilala ko na kasabay sa jeep. When were near to school, traffic welcomed us, and I think it's our school's fault, because our school, is near the market and the road is so narrow, one way, so pag nasa school na, nagbubuo ng traffic yung mga jeep so I was irritated, I just walked. It's just near by the way.

When I was on the school, there are a lot of students already. 6:45 palang. And I was not expecting that. And till the end of the week, that happened. Nah, I thought I was one of the earliest people in school, but i was DEFINITELY wrong. And then I met my co-officers, who are also in GOU or CAT Type A uniform. They are piling up and starting to help the students and pupils, especially the Kinder pupils and other i mean a lot of Grade School pupils. I just left my bag at the CAT office and I started my task, sending the pupils in their places in the gym carrying such a ~~heavy~~ massive bag. Gosh, I think their bags are even heavier than me, and that continues my curse on the first day, naalambre ako dun sa 2nd floor, and I didn't even noticed it. Nung pababa nalang ako dun ko nafeel na dumudugo na yung kamay ko. Ang haba ng sugat ko. You would really notice it. But now, it's slightly gone. Then we continued that until 8:45 I think. Duh? We were so tired na. We skipped our first period with our adviser and I haven't seen my non-CAT officer classmates yet.

When we went up our classroom on the third floor of the Archbishop Building, it was Sir Guanzon who was giving some of his instructions. We had a seat plan and my seatmates are both girls. Huwaat? I was expecting pa naman na boys yung katabi ko. Whatever, Rhoda and Czarina are good friends of mine anyway. I did not like what happened that day except our chit-chatting time with ourselves and some of our former classmates. There were a lot of changes. Our teachers, 5 out of our 9 teachers are new in school and we really doubted them. I won't tell anything more. Then the skeds. It was too complicated, it was like college already, everyday subjects are on different times and sometimes in one day, there are subjects that are scheduled twice, like Physics and there are also subjects that ar not scheduled on a particular day. Physics is 6 times a week. And we were like already. Then there are syllabus each subjects so each teacher must follow those in teaching. We have a particular limit of topics to be learned and we are not allowed to have our lecture. Canteen was like a hell also. Lumaki nga ang canteen, but it seemed na mas malaki pa yung dati. Grabeh, and our recess was 10:30-11:00 and that would be for the whole year. That must not happen to us. One subject before the recess, we are really super hungry then after 1 hour it's lunch time already. So busog na kame pag lunch time na.

I am too lazy to have an interesting post so I'll be talking about this week, what I have done, etc.

So Monday, not yet the first day of school, a lot of schools, especially public schools have started the school year. Our school will hold its opening day on Monday, June 8. I am quite excited to see my classmates, though we have a bunch of new classmates. Around 10+. Some of our classmates were transferred to other sections and I'm not happy with that. I will miss them in our classroom and all of 'em had happy moments we have spent. Gelo, Royce, Pam, Cang, Leeanne, Myreen, Margarita (did I forget someone), I would say to you that even if you were kinda separated to us (the sections), we are still your friends and do not worry, that's just a matter of time. You can still join us. Their grades are kinda eligible though, for making still to the first section. Among their grades, the lowest is 87 something, and that's still a good grade. The school made all the students with 89 above averages to join the first section and the lower sections are based on their alphabetical surnames. That's the harder part. Because Pam and Royce will be on the last section coz their surnames are Suba and Vitug, how unfortunate for them.

I want to go to school for one reason: to see and talk to my friends. I missed them a lot during the short summer break. We are seniors now and I can't believe it. It's like I just went to SAAP in my freshman year when I don't know a lot of these people. Time is really fast. Anyway, I don't want to study yet. These assignments, projects, lectures, quizzes will make me sick. I don't like doing these stuff again, but that's the real reason on why I am going to school, to learn.

This week, for me is kinda forgettable, I just did my daily routine and not did a special thing. Although I had managed to wake up early some days because my mom and my little brother are going to school. (My mother is a teacher, maybe you;ll misinterpret that she is also studying pa.) 3 out of the 7 days, I woke up around 5:30 and that is very far from my daily wake up time which is around 10:30 to 11 am. This day, I opened my graphic thread in Ftalk. I was kinda bored this past few days so I decided to edit some photos and make em as siggies. I hope I can add more to that gallery coz school is now on.

2 days before the school stars, I don't still have supplies, maybe we will buy tomorrow and that is the only day for shopping. I will just buy notebooks, pens, and papers lang naman. I'll buy those other stuff soon.

I almost forgot pala, we had a rehearsal for the first day of school. We are now CAT Officers and one of our duties is to maintain peace and order in school. We are tasked to help the students, especially kinder to grade 6 pupils and freshmen students to help them find their sections, remind about the school rules, something like that. Then as officers, we will also instruct our co-senior student about what we learned on our training and share our experiences and knowledge to them. Then after the meeting, we went to Talang to visit Gian and play DOtA sana. (I was just an spectator, actually. But he was not in their house, he was still in Manila. So they (Joemark, Phil, Gelo, Darren, and Argel) to just go to a nearby computer shop to play. They lasted around 3 hours and I watched them play and I also fell asleep some time then. Joemark was blamed for having a waste of money by the group. The others said, "Sabi ku ali tana mumunta kari Gian, ali ne man kasi magreply, mapang keta tanamu memyalung, mesayang tamu mu pera" and that means "I told you not to go to Gian's house, he was not replying to our messages. We must have played there instead of going to them, we just wasted our money."

Windows XP is a good OS. Around half of all computers all of the world use this. The OS is kinda old na and its itsura is nakakasawa na, so I decided to customize our desktop and other computer stuff.
Di na to bago saken. Lagi kong iniiba ang itsura ng computer namen. Kasawa kasi talaga ang itsura ng XP, so I'll share to you what I did to our computer to look like this.

First, naghanap ako sa Deviantart (http://www.deviantart.com) ng tutorial on how to change from XP to Mac OS X Leopard dahil eto ang napili ko. Dahil gsuto kong magkaMacBook or iMac, pwede narin na palitan ko nalang ang visual style neto. So I just searched 'XP to Mac' then a tutorial appeared on the search results. Then pinakita niya ang mga kakailanganin ko to achieve a Mac-look. First is the visual style. Eto yung mismong parang design ng computer. XP has 'Luna' as its default theme. Tapos 'Aqua' naman sa Mac. So I just searched Leopard Visual Style then I chose one of the nice ones. Inilagay ko yun sa themes folder. (C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes) tapos inapply ko na siya. And there you go. May pagbabago na agad. Yun na. Pero kaylangan pa ng konting software na makatutulong para magmukha talaga siyang Mac. Tapos I downloaded the following: Rocketdock, yung dock na nasa baba kung saan nakalagay yung mga icons. Kita dun sa mga screenshots na wala yung mga desktop icons so sa dock ko sila nilagay.), Styler, which changes the styles of the menus, Finderbar, yung taskbar na for Mac, and Tune Up Utilities Styler for the icons, bootskin, and logon skin. Then I just put one nice wallpaper, Taylor Swift which I got from Deviantart. So all my resources came from Deviantart.com. I really like this site. It's so helpful to me.

So yun na. That's my post. I just shared what I did on our boring desktop. Pag nagsawa nanaman ako sa Mac-look siguro mag Vista or Windows 7 ako.

The Cullens, ang pagkakaalam ko ay sila ay ang mga bida sa sikat sa pre-teen novel series ni Stephenie Meyer na 'Twilight.' Ngunit di na ngayon, it's because FTalk's Friendstertalk University has also its group of elite pseudo-vampires should I say.

According to Eunice, na pasimuno nitong ~~gulong~~ grupong ito na this group was formulated last April 28 in FU together with Ben and they immediately named themselves Alice and Emmett. Lein was next. Rosalie or Bella? After long discussions, they decided that Lein would be Alice then Bella na si Eunice. Si Rosalie muna ang kasunod which was Jen (Sorry Jen kung nakalimutan ko.) Si Ben daw ang nagsuggest sa kanya. Shin then joined the clan, picking Jasper coz ayaw niya daw si Carlisle. Then I joined in the vampires. Kakakilala ku lang non kay Eunice and kakabalik ko lang sa FU dahil sa ~~pamimilit~~ encouragement ni Ben. Ako nalang daw si Carlisle ani Eunice. So I accepted it. Edward sana pero masyado namang main ang character niya. So Carlisle nalang kahit matanda na siya (Hahaha. xD). Then Wendy and Krizziel became Renessmee and Esme. Nauna pa ang anak ni Bella kaysa sa biyenan niya. ahe. Si Edward nalang ang kulang. Naglagay ng 'Wanted: Edward" sign si Eu sa kanyang siggy and then bigla raw sumulpot si Von. Napag-usapan nila na siya nalang si Edward Cullen. O di tapos na. I was not that close to the other members, like Wendy, Krizziel, and Von (kung naaalala niya pa ko). I admit na di kami masyadong nag-uusap.

Yesterday was our first month, guess what? One month na pala yun. Grabeh. Di ko man lang maimagine. So for our first month, Eu (being the leader of the group) organized a conference one day before. 6 pm daw. Then nung hapon na, sabi niya na 7 nalang daw, busy daw siya nun. So the time came, we had our confe. Wala sa confe si Wendy tsaka si Von. Agad umalis sina Shin at si Krizz, so kami nina Eu, Lein, Jen, and Ben yung totally nag-ingay. Andaya nga. Nakawebcam ako at si Lein at pinagtitripan nila kame. haha. Andaya nyo, next time kayo naman. Puro kalokohan ang confe. Random ang topics, di ko na maalala lahat. Nagkaproblema nga lang. Ako naclose ku yung confe nung una. So nagkagulo. Matagal bago ako nakabalik. Tapos umulit nanaman. Si Eu naman ang di nakasama. Di ko makakalimutan ang part ng confe kung san niloko kami (Ako at si Ben) nina Jen at Lein. Eto ang kwento. Buntis daw si Lein. Whoa. Di ako makapaniwala. Di man ako seryoso nung una kasi alam ko di totoo. Pero sabi ni Lein totoo. Nagkwento pa siya. Si Ben parang ewan nung una, tawa ng tawa tapos bigla siyang naging seryoso. Naging serious tuloy ang confe. Sinabi pa namen na papatayin namen yung nagbuntis kay Lein. Nung nasa climax na, nagsarili sina Jen at Lein, pinag-usapan pala nila na sabihin na ang totoo, baka magalit pa kame ni Ben. Yun so sinabi nila na jowk lang yun. Natawa lang ako. Pero si Ben, nagalet! Di niya expect na gagawin ni Lein yun. Paniwalang paniwala panaman siya. Nagtagal bago sila nagkaayos. Pero sa huli naayos naman ang problem. Umalis na nun si Lein, leaving us into 3. Nagkalokohan pa kami nina Ben at Jen. Nakakatawa nun. Si Ben di mu alam kung lalake o babae. Napakalandi daw niya. Tong Emmett na to. Grabeh. After nun. Tapos na, we parted ways and ended the celebration. I enjoyed it naman. 1st monthsary namen yun eh.

Nagising ako this morning at around 10:40. Grabeh. Puyat na naman kasi. Natulog pa lang ako around 1 tapos sinisipon pa ko so lalo akong di nakatulog. Wala akong kaalam-alam na ngayon pala Clark trip namen sa CAT to watch the cadre graduation. I really wanted to go, but guess what? Nakalimutan ng lolo niyo. Ihh. nakakainis. Gusto ko panoorin yung drills tsaka yung rifle exhibition. I was not reminded by my mom until when we talked nung hapon na. Di ko kasi ginagamit fone ko kasi di naman nakakareceive ng text message yung sim ko. So bibili ako ng bago. Naghihinayang talaga ako as in.

This past few weeks, pinaguusapan namin nina mommy tsaka ng sis ko kung san ako mag-aaral sa college and what course will I take up. So gusto ko talaga sa Manila. UST, UP in particular. Gusto ko talaga sa dalawang schools na yon lalo na ang UST. Euan ko kung baket. 400 years na sila? Dahil gusto mong kasali sa 400th year. haha. Well, gusto ko dun kasi maganda ang school. syempre. Hmm. and I want na UAAP member school ang papasukan ko kasi I do love UAAP. I want to witness some games live and support a team. Pero FEU parin ako sa volleyball, panu ko susuportahan ang UST? Pero hindi pa ko sure dun. I must be a scholar in order to enroll dun. Alam niyo poorness lang kame. haha. Kaya dapat scholar ako. Sana magsalutatorian ako para may scholar ako. Third na lang kasi ako sa class this third year. I am also considering other schools, like FEU, Mapua, etc. pero ok nako sa UST. Kung tapos na ang sa school, yung course ko ang problema. I don't know kung ano na ang kukunin ko. Yung mga choices ko are engineering, comsci, and hrm. Napag-isip-isip ko na ECE or Electronics and Communications Engineering na lang. Tinignan ko yung curriculum nung isang school. Ok lang naman. Pero ayoko lang ng maraming drawing and drafting. Yun yung ayoko. Alisin mo lang yun. Pero di na non engineering yun. Another choice is Computer Science. I really like computers. La kong problema dun. Pero what I think is kapag nagtatrabaho na. Ok lang ba yung wage ng mga natatapos ng ComSci. Syempre inaalala ko din yun. Tapos HRM, gusto ko yung management thing but di ko kayang magluto and parang mas magastos pa siya kapag nagluluto na. Ayoko naman ang business administration kasi yokong pag-aralan ang napakaraming business stuff. Sasakit ulo ko. Well, ano kaya kukuhanin ko?

La kong masyadong ginawa this day. Kasi antagal ng start ng day ko. Mag11 na tapos wala pang nangyayare. Inaantok pa ko. Parang ganun parin. Laging online sa mga sites, then watch TV, magsoundtrip, kumaen, pero nagbasketball ako ng sandali kasama cousins. Yun ang pinagbago. Bukas badminton naman siguro. Birthday pala ng Tito Paul ko. Di man kami pumunta sa kanila. Hiatz. Anyway, happy birthday nalang. Lapit na pasukan. Gusto ko ng pumasok ng kalahati at yung kalahati ayaw pa. Anggulo no?

A blog update at last. I am so bored at this time and I don't wanna get to sleep so I decided to post here.

I just want to share that finally, my hardwork in going to school even if it's already our vacation is over. We just graduated as CAT Officers at my school, SAAP. I am officialy CdtP2LT John Mark Sangalang. Magbabago pa yan. We have undergone such a hard and rigid training. I can't believe I survived the physical training for at least a month. I am so happy and excited to be an officer. I joined the organization in order to serve and have a wonderful experience. Di ko maimagine na natapos ko to at nafulfill ko lahat ng goals ko within this organization. Biruin mo, nasurvive ko ang napakaraming push ups, squats, nangitim na ko ng bonggang bongga, and even the military obstacle course na natapos ko. We graduated pala last May 21, which is a Thursday. And the program was a simple one. There is a guest speaker giving his speech, distribution of medals and certificates, parang turnover ceremony, ehich lasted around 2 hours. I had a simple participation in the program where I flashed a PowerPoint presentation on a glimpse of our training. Time of my life. That was the title of my post kase yun ang graduation song namen. This was popularized by no other than David Cook.

One day, immediately after the CAT grad, nagdecide kami na mag-swimming party sa Funtime Resort, which was our choice among a lot of swimming resorts. Pero nabago yung decision after the grad, when Sir Mendoza said na sa isang resort nalang kame where we will reserve it para solo namin. So unanimous, dun nalang daw. Pero nakita ko sa fs, nagpost si Paul, saying sa Funtime ulet, huwaaat? Grabeh, sinabi ko na sa Mom ko na dun na sa isang resort na kame. And she only gave me little baon. Coz malapit ;ang yun samen. I reacted talaga and sinisi ku pa yung iba kung mates. Nawalan ako ng mood nun. Pero kinabukasan, grabeh, I enjoyed the whole day naman. I was late at around 30 minutes. 8 ang usapan. Di kasi ako agad nagising. So immediately after andun na ang lahat, mga 48 ata kame, we swim and swim na. The best part is yung gusto ko na kame lang ang tao sa resort came true. Kame lang ang tao sa resort. Di na kasi uso swimming. Lapit na kasi pasukan. Yehey. So I spent the day swimming, chatting with my mates, kulitan, tulakan sa pool, picture taking, videoke-ing, sight-seeing, at may dumaan pang mga choppers na super baba ang lipad. ehe. Ang inakala kong nightmare ay naging isang paradise. haha.

Finally, a decent post. Gosh. Being in love is really so hard. So, I think inlabb na ko kay Alyssa, haii. prend ko to and also my classmate. So I said I have some feelings for her last March, near the end of the classes. And we kinda had started doing well. Hindi naman siya masyadong nailang. Ako ang nailang. It's my first time eh. We are having CAT Summer Training which is not done yet. So halos nagkikita kami everyday. Kaso hindi ko alam kung ano na status namen. I think we have misunderstandings. Kasi naman pag kinakausap ko siya sa skul, I tend to have a lot of secrets and nung may tinatanong sya saken, i accidentally said, wala, secret. Masyado kang pakialamera. And yun na. Parang nagalit siya saken for that. I try to approach her pero ayaw niya kong kausapin. Pero sometimes nakakausap ko siya sa fone. Pero wala kaming napaguusapang matino. Tapos dedma pa ko pag nagsasalita na ko. Ang hirap kasi nakabuntot pa yung friends niya, na friends ko din. Now, parang nawala na nga feelings ko, nawala pa yung friendship namen.

Gosh. pinapagawan pa niya ko ng powerpoint presentation for our COLT Grad. Ang dami ng pixx. Grabeh siya. Sana naman kausapin niya ko. Ang tagal ko panamang gumawa ng presentation. darn it.

Comeback post. Whew. I have been busy for a long while and I will in the coming days.

This time, I would be dealing on the 'Taiwanovela' that I'm watching right now. It's Sakurano or Ying Ye 3 Jia 1. I'm watching it on GMA 7 every weekday afternoons after Be Strong Geum Soon and before Family Feud.

I really love dramas about friends turning into lovers and this one does not disappoints me. In addition, the main characters Joe Chen and Ming Dao are one of my favorite Taiwanese stars starting on their previous show Frog Prince.

This is a little synopsis of the show.

Xia Tian, Jia Jiang, Fang Wei, Bulu all four grew up on Westside Street together and currently study in Ying Ye School. One month away from graduation.

Xia Tian's dad is a police officer in Westside Street and is retiring tomorrow. But just on that day, they all had a fight with the Dinosaur gang in the school and were almost expelled by the principal. Officer Xia went to settle the conflict and not only did it not get settled, his gun got misplaced by the principal too. Everyone thus discussed things over and decided that Ah Jiang they all will remain in the school and they must find the gun within the one month of graduation to let Officer Xia retire peacefully and happily. Jia Jiang, Fang Wei and Bulu then can successfully graduate.

While finding the missing gun, they discovered that an ex-convict Grey Wolf who escaped from prison is possibly connected with the missing gun and even more surprisingly, the Grey Wolf is actually having close communication and contact with students in Ying Ye.

Among the teenagers, they had to cooperate to find Officer Xia's missing gun and this let Ah Jiang and Xia Tian who have since young been at loggerheads to develop feelings for each other. Fang Wei who has always liked Xia Tian now becomes the love rival of Ah Jiang. This love triangle will have what impact on Ah Jiang and Fang Wei's friendship? Ah Jiang and Xia Tian who used to be as close as siblings, will their relationship change? Who stole Officer Xia's gun? And how are they going to find it? What will be discovered in their process?

Chris Tiu: On Being a Basketball Player, Student, Leader, Entrepreneur, and a Role Model

We all know this person as a good collegiate basketball standout, a host in some T.V. shows and stepping as well on the commercial and modeling prospect. Let’s find out more on basketball superstar Chris Tiu.

Born Christopher John Alandy-Dy Tiu on July 15, 1985 to Jerry and Lianne Tiu, Chris, whom we popularly know him, is really popular nowadays in the midst of the championship experienced by the Ateneo De Manila University this 71^st Season of the UAAP. He is the 2^nd among five siblings that he also reflects his being ‘kuya’ to his teammates being the captain of the champion team. He will leave his footsteps on his 5^th and final year of playing in the collegiate scene.

He played a career-high season this year averaging 14.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game after the elimination round, worthy enough to join in the Mythical Team for the second straight year.

Winning also the PSBank Maaasahan Player of the Year and the hero of Game 2 in their clash against their arch-rivals De La Salle Green Archers, Chris, himself, says that he is already fulfilled and his college life is considered complete.

He also told that he was lucky to join and lead the best team he has played with guys such as the MVP Rabeh Al-Hussaini, defensive specialist and Finals MVP Nonoy Baclao, Rookie of the Year Ryan Buenafe and the whole squad that dominated the UAAP Men’s Basketball which is a great honor to him being the captain.

According to their head coach Norman Black, “Obviously, Chris’ stats are great but that’s not how his value on the team is gauged. It’s his leadership. He didn’t have to come back because he’s graduated but Chris returned anyway because he wanted to win a championship.”

His unselfishness in terms of giving his teammates confidence and chance to shoot together with his heroic and leadership acts all paid off.

Aside from being a basketball player, Chris is also studying in his second course, which is B.S. Applied Mathematics, Major in Mathematical Finance, Minor in Chinese Studies at the John Gokongwei School of Management (JGSOM) in Ateneo. He took up B.S. Management Engineering also in JGSOM graduating cum-laude. He even flew to Paris, France for 6 months in the Lille Catholic University, all part of the exchange student program.

Although being busy with all his work, Chris doesn’t have special privileges on his teachers. According to him, he strives hard to catch up with their lessons, do good in exams, and when he’s absent, he completes all his requirements to maintain his status as a Dean’s Lister.

The 23-year-old Chris also does hosing jobs on TV, particularly on GMA 7. He co-hosts Manny Pacquiao in Pinoy Records which is aired on Saturdays and he solo-hosts Ripley’s Believe It or Not! during Mondays. He also endorsed products on TV and print, such as Nesvita Oatmeal 3 in 1, Active White L-Glutathione, Master Facial Cleanser, Adidas, Hanford Ice, Clear Anti-Dandruff Shampoo, and Sector Watches.

Surprisingly, for those who don’t know it, Chris is also a Barangay Kagawad at their place in Urdaneta Village in Makati City where he also served as the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Chairman for 5 years. In his political side, Chris focuses in giving service to people in their neighborhood is deeply concerned with poverty issues, status of our government, and the standing of education.

Having a business is also not new to Chris Tiu. He owns a food business named “Chinky Chickens” which is located in JGSOM Student Enterprise Center (JSEC), Ateneo’s first and only student-run mall. Delectable and affordable meals especially for the Ateneans are what they serve in this food stall. Their best-seller according to Chris is Crispy Adobo Flakes while Chicken Curry is the most popular which is also craved by his brother Charles. Other delicious stuff there are Chicken Teriyaki, Chicken Soy, and Chicken Lollipops. To Chris, Chinky Chickens means “quality service and satisfaction.”

Being a role model too is evident in the Xavier School personality. He encourages people, specifically students to strive hard in their education, try to balance their time, work hard, sacrifice if necessary, strictly follow your priorities and don’t forget to thank God for your blessings. “Ad Majorem Dei Gloiram,” “For the Greater Glory of God” in English wants us to not forget God on what we do and what we accomplish because all of these came from Him.

Haay salamat, I have managed to have a decent post this past few weeks. Anyways, I'll make it straight to the point!

First, I'll would give my sincere congratulations to my idols, the Ateneo De Manila University Blue Eagles for winning the UAAP Season 71 crown against their arch-rivals La Salle. (They sweeped them, aha!) I wasn't able to watch it fully 'coz I came with my classmates in City of San Fernando for the Division Secondary Schools Press Conference, in the field of Campus Journalism even I'm not a qualified contestant 'coz I only won 6th place in the Cluster level, only falling one place short in qualifying. (Dats ok!)

The Blue side of things won convincingly on the 2nd Finals encounter, 62-51. Rabeh won the MVP of the Season award and joining the Mythical team (I think that's automatic.) He was also the Jolibee Champ Award and the Appeton Most Improved Player. (Wow!) My super dooper idol which is Christopher John Alandy-Dy Tiu (Talagang minention full name. I'm such a fan of Kuya Chris.) He was also the PSBank Maaasahan Player for the season, member of the Mythical team and he was the best player for the Eagles in Game 2 top scoring them with 16 markers. Nonoy snatched the Finals MVP reign and Smart Defensive Player of the Year 'coz of his great showing of defense. Eric was the KFC Court Colonel awardee and Ryan got the Rookie of the Year award, thus, joining the All-Rookie Team together with Nico.

Highlighting in joining my co-Tagaste scribes (Tagaste is our school paper.) when they were competing in CSF while I'm enjoying in SM Pampanga is my get-up. Last Friday, I wore our All-blue P.E. uniform together with my Blue Chuck Taylor's, blue hanky, blue-cased CP, blue ID with I LOVE ATENEO in it, and my bag and stuff all in blue. (Favorite color ko talaga ang blue, e ano ngayon?? Haha. LOLZ!!) My classmate, Christina (who is on the picture, 2nd from the left together with Rhoda, Czarina, and proud to say, our School Paper Adviser, Mrs. Myrna Santos), won fourth place in Copy Reading and Headline Writing in Filipino, but to qualify for the Regional level, you must secure yourself in the top 3 spots, isa na lang!

Well, I think I have a long post na. We don't have classes on Monday and Wednesday, yipee!! But I have to finish our articles for the school paper this Tuesday with the article about the Ateneo win and a sports feature on Chris Tiu!! (It is approved by Ma'am Mitz, thanks Ma'am!!) NCAA championship is also exciting as San Beda and JRU clash for the 84th Season Championship. Amazing Race Season 13 will also kick off on Monday, which is one of my favorite shows.

Oh, I forgot to congratulate the Blue Eaglets squad for reclaiming the Juniors' crown, nice job!!

This week, sobrang dami ang dapat kong i-accomplish. Luckily, I have done them all.

Hmm, I'll start with the Cluster Secondary Schools Press Conference. It all about journalism and I competed in the Sports Writing category in English. This was held on the Limlingan Hall of the Guagua National Colleges here in Pampanga. With the help of my experience in competing and with God's guidance, I won sixth place! That's already a great achievement on my part. It will join my previous contest that I already won. I won in grade 4 up to the division level, grade 6 up to regional level and this year up to cluster level. Unfortunately, only five scribes will qualify for the Division level. And I'm in sixth place. Arghh. Hmm, but my coach said that I will be on stand-by mode 'coz I have still a slim chance of joining the competitions if one of the top 5 will not join. (I hope that will happen.)

Next, our barangay fiesta. I didn't enjoyed it this year because of the contest. My competition was schedule at the same day, September 10. I already arrived home at around 7:45 in the evening and I haven't able to invite my classmates 'coz it's already late. Although I got to munch a lot of food when I got home. Yummy! (I also came on Jollibee back and forth when we are in Guagua. So my tummy was so full then!)

Then, earlier, at around 1 to 4 pm, we made the way for our second monthly exams. Luckily, my performance it just okay. I think I will get high scores in Math (Geometry) and Science (Chemistry). But I didn't finished my Math test because I forgot one formula. That spoiled it all. Haha. Hmm, English (Journalism) and Filipino (Noli Me Tangere) are the ones I got thinking every now and then. I don't really like reading stories and novels, such as in Noli Me Tangere. But to sum it all up, the exams was a success to me.

My cousin James will have his first birthday party tomorrow and it will be held in our house. Our cute baby turns one.

UAAP Final Four action will start on Sunday where DLSU will battle against FEU with a twice-to-beat advantage while the Blue Eagles will face the Red Warriors at 4 p.m. Ateneo has also a twice-to-beat advantage.

I will buy na the shirt that I want. I will purchase two Blue Fever shirts that is the charitable business of Chris Tiu's friend. Thanks to Kuya Chris for sharing where I can buy these stuff. Wow! Aga ng post ko ah. My sis woke me up early this day to help her in her project. Jeezzzz, ang aga mo naman nang-istorbo (scratching my eyes). We don't have classes today maybe because it's Mama Mary's birthday (I'm not listening kasi when they talking about that no classes stuff.)

Yesterday, I watched the Samsung UAAP Cheerdance Competition. I was stunned with the great performances of the pep squads. I was cheering for the Blue Babble Battalion of ADMU then. They showed a nice performance, just falling short of winning at least a second runner-up award finishing in fourth place.

UP Pep Squad defended the crown with their originality. Costume palang alam mo ng creative ang UP. And their music has a touch of tribal music. They accumulated a score of 93.30. UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe won second for two years now. They had a score of 85.27, way far on UP's total and FEU Cheering Squad made a same finish as of the upper teams winning third with the score of 83.96. Ateneo Blue Babble Battalion, Adamson Pep Squad, UE Pep Squad, DLSU Pep Squad, and NU Pep Squad finished from 4th to 8th, respectively.

After the Cheerdance Competition on Studio 23, they showed a replay of the ADMU-UE second round game which I haven't watched 'coz I have a bad fever that day. I'm so glad I have watched it kahit replay lang. It was Captain Chris Tiu who made the shot that extended the game into overtime but he suffered from cramps on the OT period. I forgot the final score. But it was a 4 point lead.

Let's go to the present. I have to do our editorial writing project now! Tinatamad pa ko ngayon. Maybe I'll do it later. I'll sleep pa kasi nyan. I will do it because if not, my members will get mad at me! I don't want to have enemies because of that. If I have some more time, I will also do the sports articles together with the photos.

Future. Our Cluster Conference in Journalism ay bukas na gaganapin. But my competition will be on Wednesday palang. I will compete in the Sports Writing category, what I do best. I will do my very best, win or lose. I hope the topic for this year is easier than last year. If the topic will be UAAP, gosh, that would be better. Barrio Fiesta and exams also coming week. UAAP semis might also be this week (I'll watch the play-off for #2 between FEU and La Salle on Thursday.)

UAAP, Cluster Conference, Schoolwork, Exams, Fiesta!!

Whew!! Ang dami ng topics ng blog ko for this week. I will be busy kasi this coming week. So much to do.

We will not be having classes on Monday (the birth date of Mary). Pero that will be my rest day na siguro. Dami ko talagang dapat gawin.

First, I will be dealing with the UAAP Saturday matches.

UST won its last game against UP. It was a very emotional game for the Growling Tigers 'coz 6 of their main men played their last game in the UAAP, which are Francis Allera, Mark Canlas, Japs Cuan, Mel Gile, Chester Taylor, and of course, back-to-back MVP aspirant Jervy Cruz. Three years lang ang nilaro ni Jervy sa UAAP, but I don't know the reason why it is his last year. Maybe he was drafted to the pros or had already reached the UAAP age limit or nag-graduate na siya in college.

What I really anticipated is the 2nd Ateneo-La Salle match-up this season 71. Ateneo seized the victory, 65-57, in a jam-packed Araneta Coliseum, with 22, 136 people in attendance. Rabeh Al-Hussaini, Nonoy Baclao, Chris Tiu, Jai Reyes, Eric Salamat, and Ryan Buenafe overwhelm the opposition and winning their thirteenth game out of fourteen contests and having a clean record in the 2nd round of eliminations.

La Salle having defeated in the said match will face the FEU Tamaraws for the second spot and the twice-to-beat advantage in their so-called virtual-best-of-three series that will be held on 9-11, 4 p.m. ADMU, meanwhile, will face the UE Red Warriors, last years runners-up.

This day, the Samsung UAAP Cheerdance Competitions will be held in the Big Dome at 2 p.m. The UP Pep Squad tries to defend their championship against the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe, FEU Cheering Squad, and 5 more others. (I will cheer for the Ateneo Blue Babble Battalion ,hehe.)

On tuesday and wednesday naman, we will have our Cluster Press Conference in Journalism. I will compete in the Sports Writing category. It will be in Guagua National Colleges. I hope I can win (kahit anung place lang) because we will be competing against other private schools here in Pampanga. I want to relive that glorious days in Grade School where I even got into the Regional Level.

Aside from these, I have to do our project in English about Editorial Writing. I will write them all the articles, columns, etc. Kakapagod yun ah!

I also have to pass our sports articles. Gusto ko pa naman isali yung UAAP pero parang alanganin yung time. I need to submit them na siguro because tapos na rin yung intrams.

After the contest, exams na naman. We will have our monthly tests on Friday, September 12. Although major subjects lang, sana mataas pa rin yung scores ko to maintain my ranking. Mahirap na.

It will be also our barangay fiesta on September 10 commemorating our patron saint, St. Nicholas de Tolentino. Kasabay niya yung Cluster Conference so baka hindi ko mainvite yung mga classmates ko in our house. Ayaw nilang di ako kasama.

Start of another week in school, UAAP, Ripley's (1st post.,weeeh) [nakalimutan ko ung password ko dun sa 1st account ko so i repeated the post nalang]

This is my first post in my new account.(Yipee.)

As every school week starts, there is in need of an early wake-up. This day late nanaman ako for about five minutes sa school. It came up because I didn't woke up early and my sis is so slow working. I need to wait for her.

Here in my first post I will focus on last weekend of extreme play in the UAAP. As a sports fanatic, especially the UAAP, I really sees to it to watch all games especially the games of the Blue Eagles (why?, because I'm such an avid fan of them, especially Mr. Chris Tiu, hehe) . I, being the sports editor of the school publication wants to include that UAAP action in the sports section by writing an article. It would be better if Ateneo will win! I will strive to make it a nice one.

Last Saturday, in the Philsports Arena (ULTRA), I have watched all the seniors' matches which showcased the game between FEU and UP in the first game and ADMU and NU in the second game.

In the first game, it was a tight match even if the centennial hosts UP are not expected to give FEU a fight but they gave them a real scare, having won only for one point! I owe UP for giving a nice fight even though they lost. In this game, I saw the comeback of Mac Baracael because I didn't saw him in the DLSU-FEU match??(I'm not quite sure.) They won 71-70. So close but the Maroons fell short.

I really anticipated the next game, which was ADMU vs. NU. NU gave Ateneo a bitter loss last year where they may have claimed the twice-to-beat advantage and maybe the championship. This time, the Eagles assure that this will not happen again. They won in a incredible fashion 83-58. This time, I'm pretty quite sure who delivered for the Ateneo win. They are Rabeh Al-Hussaini for the Samsung Best Player and of course, no more than my idol Chris Tiu being the PS Bank Masasahan Player.

In Sunday's matches, it was a roller coaster ride for me and I felt a lot of emotions in these games.

First, the Adamson Falcons also gave La Salle a scare that they forced the game into overtime but losing 79-84. JVee Casio and Rico Maierhofer delivered in that game for the Green Archers. (I don't wanna write more 'coz I'm quite tired na, haha)

In the second game, UE was also shocked by the 20 point run of the UST Growling Tigers that almost gave them a heartbreaker defeat. After this win, the final four teams are now official. ADMU, FEU, DLSU, and UE will compete for this year's crown. But the number 2 and 3 places are not yet secured and contested by FEU and La Salle with each team have only one game remaining.

Okay, that's all for my first post. I will take a breather first and later will watch Ripley's Believe it or Not. I haven't missed an episode yet!
